Purpose: The Telephone Reassurance Program is a protective and friendly service designed to help elderly, in Somerset County, to live independently, without worrying about special dangers that living alone sometimes entails. At the same time, the program helps to build friendships and provides the care and concern necessary for good health and social well-being. A morning call is placed to participants every business day.
